From January 12 next year, all users around the world can play PUBG for free on all platforms, including PC and console.
After being released as Early Access on Steam in 2017 (a service that provides games to some users before the official release) in 2017, Battlegrounds has sold over 75 million copies, including PCs and consoles, in the global market. has established itself as a leading global game.
It is developing into a powerful cultural content, and it is steadily loved by many users, with quarterly sales in 2021 continuing to rise.
Crafton explained that in order to repay this, they decided to switch to a free play service so that all users could enjoy playing Battlegrounds based on the slogan ‘BATTLEGROUNDS FOR ALL’.
