‘Juvenile Justice’ tells the story of an elite judge who hates juvenile offenders, Shim Eun-seok (Kim Hye-soo), who is newly appointed to the juvenile department of a district court.
This work raises questions about juvenile crimes that have reached the level of danger and the social responsibility surrounding them, focusing on the issue of the juvenile statute, in which criminal minors under the age of 14 are subject to a protective disposition rather than punishment.
Unlike ordinary civil or criminal trials, through the advice of real juvenile court judges, it is expected that the daily lives and worries of those who look into the post-disposition and adaptation of juvenile offenders will be vividly contained.
